Jim Everett puralia meenamatta told a Hobart court it does not have jurisdiction over him in a heated exchange with a magistrate. Charged with trespassing after being arrested at a logging protest last year, he told the magistrate such laws don't apply to him as an Aboriginal man protecting his Country, reported NITV (SBS) News. 8/4/25
